About First Year Programs

As an undergraduate student at the University of Washington (UW), I worked in the First Year Programs (FYP) office for three years in various roles, Orientation Leader, Dawg Daze Leader, Network Leader, First-year Interest Group Leader, Student Assistant, and Student Coordinator for Advising and Orientation Program Logistics Gold.

Throughout my employment at FYP, I have worked on various video and audio media projects, such as podcasts, live webinars, and recorded videos for the Advising and Orientation program at UW. I was the producer, director, script writer, and/or editor for the needs of the programs using DaVinci Resolve as the main editing software. Some works include: Live Webinars, Informational Videos, and the processing of Orientation recordings.

As producer for live webinars and the Husky Huddle Up Podcast, I would schedule and lead online meetings for the pre- and recording session with various campus partners and students on campus. Once we have a recorded episode, I would then make sure that all of the episode material was then uploaded and sent to me so I could then edit and caption episodes as needed.
